9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
We are all called to carry out God’s Purpose for our lives. At times, that can be a daunting task. With the passing of Billy Graham, I have gotten into conversations with people about the vast number of lives that he touched. While God may not put us in a position to transform millions of lives, He puts people in our lives every single day. Many times we put numbers in front of people, in terms of our priorities. One of the stories that I keep seeing come up in regards to Billy Graham is the fact that he never overlooked the person in front of him. That brings me to today’s point.
in terms of today’s social media culture, people are focused on the number of “likes” that they get during a day. This is no different than times 20-30 years ago. People still wanted “likes,” but it was in terms of the people that they were close to in terms of personal proximity. The difference now is we are focused on the number of followers that we can garner. Even when we have followers, we can have a positive outcome. If we create followers in terms of God’s Kingdom, we add. If we focus on creating leaders that can reach others, we multiply for God’s Kingdom. Focus on the people that God puts in your path. Create positive change in their lives. Create leaders. Remove yourself from the top, and put God in His rightful place in the equation. Show God’s Love and help to facilitate the reason that someone seeks Him.
i love you all.
